"Old Ways, New Hands" Cohort members Announced

OLD WAYS, NEW HANDS is Chef Richard Sandoval’s initiative that celebrates the next generation of Latin Chefs, Creators and Restaurateurs with a cohort aimed at teaching culinary and entrepreneurship.

Announced during Hispanic Heritage Month 2023, aspiring chefs, creators and restaurateurs of Latin heritage were encouraged to apply for this cohort, culminating in an all-expenses paid trip to Mexico to learn culinary skills and entrepreneurship from a chef whose footprint spans 4 continents and 11 countries, with 60+ locations.

The recipes they create together will be featured on menus at select Richard Sandoval locations around the globe during Hispanic Heritage Month 2024.

With over 200 incredible applicants, the decision was not an easy one. Without further ado, we are proud to present the five members of the Old Ways, New Hands cohort - who will be traveling to Mexico in April 2024 to learn alongside Chef Sandoval and his team.
